CarbonRiver were commissioned to footprint the Telco’s solution by service, by product, by location for 120+ countries. Advice was given on how to achieve a differentiated sustainability proposition for the £100+m contract, and CarbonRiver generated a plan to reduce energy consumption and embedded emissions , that enabled differentiated environmental targets to be set
The outcomes delivered an equipment replacement framework to assist decision making and a bid strategy for the contract was altered to feature sustainability messaging, that also led to lower delivery costs. Our client received praise from their client for taking a lead in sustainability, and has adopted the CarbonRiver approach for subsequent tenders
